In practice since 1996, attorney and firm co-founder Eric B. Kingsley has litigated complex cases and authored numerous appellate briefs in both state and federal court on behalf of the California law firm of Kingsley & Kingsley Lawyers, including over 150 class actions. Mr. Kingsley concentrates his practice on wage and hour litigation and is currently handling several class actions regarding the failure to pay wages, including overtime and the denial of break or meal periods. In addition, to wage and hour litigation, Eric handles the claims of individuals who have been wrongfully terminated or sexually harassed in the work place. Mr. Kingsley is a prolific speaker at various seminars on employment law and is a contributor to the Daily Journal on issues affecting the California legal community. In addition to his work with the firm, Eric dedicates his time to several non-profit organizations, advising them on legal and practical issues. As part of the class action procedure, the firm has had the opportunity to direct residues in class action settlements. The firm has directed over one million dollars to various worthy causes, including Bet Tzedek Legal Services and California Rural Legal Assistance, both of whom provide free legal services to the poor.

Attorney Liane Katzenstein Ly has been licensed to practice law in the State of California since 2008. Ms. Ly is a Partner with the Los Angeles-based law firm of Kingsley & Kingsley, where she focuses her practice on wage and hour law and employment law, including complex class actions and individual employment cases. She is an honors graduate of Florida State University, and while at the University of California Davis School of Law, she was an editor of the Environmental Law Journal and a board member of the King Hall Negotiations Team. Ms. Ly is admitted to practice in all California state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California, Northern District of California, and Eastern District of California. Ms. Ly has authored several appellate briefs in both state and federal court, including assisting on briefing for a case argued before the United States Supreme Court. Ms. Ly has also spoken on wage and hour and employment law panels. In addition to her work with the firm, Ms. Ly is involved with several non-profits and has provided pro bono legal services to low wage workers and undocumented immigrants seeking asylum.

Attorney Kelsey M. Szamet is a Partner of the firm. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the University of California San Diego, where she majored in Human Development and minored in Communications. She received her law degree from UCLA School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Szamet was active in the Women's Law Journal and various community-based legal clinics. In practice since 2008, Ms. Szamet represents plaintiffs in employment litigation including complex class actions and individual employment cases. Ms. Szamet concentrates her practice on wage and hour and consumer class action cases including claims for failure to pay wages, the denial of meal and rest periods, misclassification of employees, and unfair competition cases, among others. Ms. Szamet has also successfully represented many plaintiffs in wrongful termination, sexual harassment, and discrimination cases. Kingsley & Kingsley, APC has a busy and successful appellate practice and Ms. Szamet has authored several appellate briefs in both state and federal court. Ms. Szamet has been recognized as a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers magazine each year since 2014. In addition to her work with the firm, Ms. Szamet dedicates her time to several non-profit organizations, and recently concluded her tenure as Vice President of the Board of Directors for the YWCA - Greater Pasadena Foothill Valley.
